Hi! I'm responding here because your email about the cookie monster invites doesn't show a reply address. Anyhow, the mouths stayed slightly open for me too but when I stuffed them in the envelopes, they closed. When our guests opened them, the Cookie monster mouth opened wide and revealed the cookies, which I liked. If that bothers you, you can buy velcro dots with adhesive backs (they come in black...I had some and considered using them) and put a dot on either side of the inside of his mouth to keep it closed. I would probably dab a lil' hot glue on the back of the dots to help it stick more securely to the felt. I bought mine at Michaels. How fun! Happy you tried them. If you blog about them, let me know.
